Our Story — From Us to You

We’re Donna and Natalia, the women behind this retreat.
We met several years ago at Florence House — and from that very first time, something shifted for both of us. Coming from busy city lives, Seaford felt like a completely different rhythm of being.
The air felt cleaner.
The pace felt slower.
And for the first time in a long while, everything around us seemed to pause.
It’s the kind of place where you stop rushing.
Where you begin to listen — to your body, your thoughts, your needs.
Where you quietly return to yourself.
Over the years, as we gained experience, immersed ourselves in the world of wellness and conscious living, and worked alongside many inspiring professionals, one feeling became very clear:

Our Mission
This retreat was created from a desire to offer a space where you can pause, take a deep breath, reconnect with your body, restore your energy, and leave feeling inspired and renewed.
We have brought together exceptional practitioners and thoughtfully curated experiences in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK to share our knowledge, passion, and expertise with you.
Florence House is nestled at the foot of the cliffs in Seaford, East Sussex, just a two-minute walk from Seaford Beach. The house offers panoramic, breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, creating the perfect setting for deep rest and reconnection.
Our carefully selected yoga, breathwork, and sound bath facilitators will guide you through practices designed to reset and rebalance your body and mind, offering tools you can carry with you long after the day ends.

Program for the Day
08:00 — Arrival and welcome, with time to get to know the venue and facilitators
08:30–10:30 — Breathwork session with Lisa
10:30–11:00 — Tea and coffee break
11:00–13:00 — Guided walk and photo session at the Seven Sisters Nature Reserve
13:00–14:00 — Nourishing lunch prepared by the chef
14:30–16:00 — Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Becky
16:00–16:30 — Tea and coffee break
16:30–17:30 — Vibrational sound bath with Peter Hess® Singing Bowls with Maja
17:30–18:30 — Tea or coffee and cake to gently close the day
Our Facilitators
Becky

Becky is a qualified 200-hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher who leads classes in a personal training gym and coaches small group personal training sessions. She also loves hosting her own yoga retreats.

Maja Dethloff

Maja is the only authorised Singing Bowl Therapy instructor in the UK certified by the Peter Hess® Academy. Her holistic approach supports deep relaxation and balance for mind, body, and soul.
Singing bowls create harmonious sound and vibration that positively influence body resonance and overall well-being.

Lisa

Lisa is a Conscious Connected Breathwork coach who supports individuals in releasing stress, deepening self-awareness, and reconnecting with their authentic selves through the power of breath.
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a transformative practice designed to clear emotional blockages, reset the nervous system, and awaken inner clarity — all through the simple, yet profound, act of breathing.
