We know how hard it can be to step away from a busy life – which is why we’ve created this 3-night weekend escape. Perfect for when time is short but the need to reset is real.  This retreat is your space to pause, breathe and recharge.

Join us in this stunning location by the sea to enjoy twice-daily yoga sessions suitable for all levels, soothing sunset slowdown experiences, meditation and breathwork to calm the nervous system. Wake to fresh sea air, wander the breathtaking cliffs of Seven Sisters Country Park, receive massages, chat with your fellow like minded retreaters and nourish yourself with delicious locally sourced vegetarian meals.

At Florence House, you’ll find peaceful gardens, cosy indoor corners and plenty of space to rest, reflect and reconnect.

Schedule

Friday 17 July

  • Arrive & settle in to your room from 5pm.  Help yourself to tea & biscuits before we gather for our Welcome Circle and tour of the house.
  • Gentle evening yoga practice
  • Hearty vegetarian supper & retire to bed whenever you’re ready

Saturday 

  • Help yourself to tea & fruits on waking
  • Slow flow yoga practice to open body & mind
  • Healthy vegetarian breakfast
  • Optional coastal walk in the Seven Sisters Country Park
  • Lunch then an afternoon free to receive massages, snooze, read & enjoy some quiet time to rest
  • Evening yoga will be nurturing & restorative
  • Supper – all home made, vegetarian using locally sourced ingredients
  • Sunset Slow Down Experience – let us surprise you!

Sunday

  • Morning tea & fruits
  • Dynamic Yoga Practice
  • Breakfast & time to take a sauna on the beach, explore Seaford town
  • Lunch then time to receive massages or enjoy some peaceful time to reflect in the gardens
  • Gentle evening yoga finishing with Yoga Nidra to deeply relax
  • Supper & our second Sunset Slow Down Experience

Monday 20 July

  • Morning tea & fruits
  • Short Yoga Session to prepare your body for the day ahead
  • Nourishing breakfast before fond farewells & check out by 10am

The Yoga Sessions

The yoga sessions are perfect for those with a little bit of yoga experience right up to the super-flexi yogi.  The physical practice of yoga postures is about what you feel – not what you ‘do’ so you’ll be encouraged to honour your body and respect any injuries & limitations you have.

Morning sessions tend to be a slow flow practice, linking movement with breath creating more ease, flexibility, mobility and strength.  Evening sessions are our time to wind down from the day & prepare for a restful nights sleep with a yoga practice that invites mindful, conscious movement & exploration to help release tightness & tension trapped within the tissues.   Breathwork, guided meditation & Yoga Nidra will all feature over the weekend too to help down regulate & soothe your nervous system.

You’re welcome to do as many or as little of the yoga sessions as you wish but if you have any questions about the yoga sessions, please contact the retreat host, Nicole to ensure this retreat is the right fit for you.

Accommodation & Prices

The rooms at Florence House are all beautifully decorated in calming tones & comfy beds made with crisp white linens. A true restful sanctuary waiting for you at the end of each day.

All rooms face either the sea or the house gardens. There’s a choice of accommodation options for the single traveller plus twin & triple rooms for those that are happy to share.  Most rooms share the bathrooms located on each floor though there are a small number of ensuite rooms too.

  • Own room with shared bathroom @ £745
  • Twin or Triple with shared bathroom @ £695 each
  • Cosy single for 1 with shared bathroom @ £655 (all sold out!)
