If you are looking for the perfect venue for a
house party, a wedding, a retreat, a corporate training day or
just a relaxing get away, Florence House can accommodate all of
your requirements.
A house party is a wonderful way to enjoy the company of
friends and family. Make it as informal or as formal as you like;
maybe a lazy lie in, a brunch breakfast followed by an
exhilarating walk on the cliff tops.
Our head chefs are supported by a team of dedicated staff who
produce the most delicious and fabulous food. Produce is mostly
organic and locally sourced when possible. Special dietary
requirements can be catered for and we are happy to provide sample
menus on request.
The Meeting Room: Measuring 50 x 20 feet, this lovely room can
seat up to 100 people. East facing with each of the double doors
overlooking the expansive front garden with fabulous views to
Seaford Head.
The Library: Panelled in oak, this smaller room is more
intimate, can seat up to 30 people and overlooks the pretty walled
garden.
The Dining Room: This room can be used to comfortably seat 24
people in any one sitting. For larger groups we can incorporate
the library.
The Lounge: This area has comfortable sofas and a wood burning
stove which adds to the ambience. There is a grand piano which can
be played to add to your enjoyment.
Bedroom Accommodation: Triple, double or single rooms are
available with a choice of views over the grounds, or out to
Seaford Head, and are perfect for Bed & Breakfast, a relaxing
weekend and for conference delegates. Each room is themed to
reflect its harmonious design and to express its own personality.
Rooms are available en-suite - bath or shower.
B&B Accommodation:
All rooms have scenic views, some rooms are on the ground floor
level and available for those with walking difficulties, reminder
of rooms are on the first floor. Costal walks and golf nearby. We
have a House Policy of Peace & Quiet with no TV or radio in the
rooms. Rates from £47pp single occupancy, twin/double from £88.
