Dr Liz Archer – Global Health- Where Ecology, Medicine and Consciousness Meet
An interactive day with Dr Liz Archer, during which we will explore this crucial question - where on Earth are we going, and what can we do about it? Liz will review the health status of Planet Earth and her inhabitants, and consider how current trends in global ecology, economics, and social justice are putting our survival at risk. We will explore how we managed to get ourselves to where we are, and also the changes in our consciousness and values that will be necessary if we are to negotiate the next few decades successfully.
Liz Archer is a GP in Sussex. She undertook emergency relief work in The Sudan and Ethiopia during the 1980s, and later worked for both Save the Children and ODA (now DFID) in London. She has a long standing interest in spirituality and non-conventional approaches to health and healing, and is a trained “Change the Dream” symposium programme facilitator. [info]
